The Birth of Fireproof Student Ministries
In the book of Daniel we are introduced to 3 remarkable young men of God, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who remained faithful to God against the toughest of circumstances. As we studied this passage we saw that their faithfulness brought them through the flames of the fiery furnace. This same God began a work in the lives of us 3 men who would follow God’s direction to start Fireproof Student Ministries. Over a period of 2 years God began to place a desire to minister to students in each of our lives and placed us in positions to begin working with students through our local church. God has been faithful through this entire process and used this biblical story to teach us, lead us, and speak to us about the direction we are to go with our own personal lives. Like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, we believe that Jesus Christ has knit us together to start this student ministry to make an impact in the lives of each student we encounter.
Goals of Fireproof Student Ministries
Fireproof Student Ministries Aims to:
- Provide students with an opportunity to escape everyday issues and experience connections with other students
- Daily demonstrate the Love of Christ to students
- Meet students spiritual, emotional, and physical needs
- Introduce students to the same God that delivered Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego from the fire
- Disciple students that accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior to become students of the Word of God
